Best Bitcoin Card for France

At a dinner with representatives of Blockchain Partner in France, Bruno Le Maire spoke about the future regulation of crypto currencies in France. He addressed the taxation of crypto currencies, the legal handling of ICOs and banking difficulties.

As already reported, the French financial sector is opening up to the crypto market under Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economics and Finance. This applies not only to crypto currencies, ICOs, wallets and trading in general, but also to opening up to blockchain technology. At a dinner with representatives of Blockchain Partner, Bruno Le Maire put his plans into concrete terms. In the opening of his speech, Le Maire said that only a year ago he had been a newcomer in the field of crypto currencies and blockchain. Nevertheless, this year his ministry has made efforts to make France a leading place for blockchain innovation and crypto-assets.

In his speech, Le Maire then referred to the right to a bank account and access to banks for crypto entrepreneurs. In the past, this has become a problem in Chile, for example, because many a Landesbank is closing itself off from the new financial sector. In France, the state will work to ensure that crypto companies can open an account with a French bank. Firstly, this is important for competitiveness and secondly, it is better to open an account with a French bank, which is therefore trustworthy.

Crypto currencies in France – these are the concrete plans

With regard to taxation, the idea was to adapt taxation to the taxation of precious metals. This idea was soon rejected again. Companies and individuals should be able to plan for the long term. Further in the area stands to exclude crypto currencies completely from a taxation. For the time being, the discussion about tax competitiveness on the crypto market is to be continued. Special attention will be paid to the exchange between the ecosystems. With regard to ICOs, Le Maire stresses the need to operate ICOs on a professional level. This means that they must also be assessed professionally.

About France

France is the largest country in Europe in terms of surface area and can look back on an ancient and rich cultural history that spread throughout Europe and had an effect beyond the colonial era. France was the first modern European republic and had the second largest colonial empire after Great Britain.

Today, France is one of the world’s leading industrial and export nations. Traditionally, France’s economic policy has been guided by relatively strong state intervention. Key industries, especially the energy sector, have been under state control until now, but in recent years deregulation and privatisation have increased. France is a major producer of nuclear power, and Germany is one of its most important customers. In France, about 80 percent of electricity is produced by nuclear power plants. Germany is France’s most important trading partner.

Together with Germany, France was one of the founding nations of the European Economic Community and contributed much to the closer ties in the European Union. France was also a driving force behind the introduction of the euro.

In addition to its European territory, France includes overseas territories in the Caribbean, South America, off the coast of North America, the Indian Ocean and Oceania. France also claims the Adélieland area in Antarctica.
